Steam engine
To create and mimic a steam engine that uses fossil fuel to generate heat to generate steam which inturns is used to turn the dynamo /generator to generate electricity.
HYPOTHESIS:
Heat water and generate steam and turn the turbine
MATERIALS:
Tin Can ( any soup/beans can)
Turbine (either use tin sheet from coke/pepsi can and cut it to turbine shape)
Steel rod or metal string to hold the turbine.
Tuna can - (Cut the top and cut the top to make space and cover the bottom so that there is space for steam to escape)
Poke holes on top of tuna can for the steam to escape
We had this holiday candle and used that for turbine.

PROCEDURE:
1.Poke a hole in tin soup can for the holder and also for steam to escape.
2. Insert the steel string
3. Place the cut turbine on top.
4. Pour some water into the tuna can and close it.
5. Place this on top of some stand and use either spirit lamp or camp lamp to heat.
RESULTS:
1.Once the water starts boiling the steam raises above and rotates the turbine.
CONCLUSION:
1. This is the basic concept of any renewable/non-renewable energy plant.
Rotate the turbine and connect it to generator to generate electricity.
Instead of using fossil fuels like coal if the geothermal, water, solar, nuclear energy it is efficient and no global warming.
