Telegraph and Morse code - Civil war inventions

PURPOSE:
To make a mock morse code generator using lamp and buzzer.

HYPOTHESIS:
.Using buzzer can communicate in morse code via sound.
.Using lamp can communicate in morse code via light.

MATERIALS:
Buzzer
Lamp
Battery AA and battery case
Wires
Switch

CIRCUIT:




INSTRUCTIONS:
1. I used a photo frame and a cardboard. 
2. Poke holes to find place holders for battery and lamp and switch and buzzer.
3.Connect a buzzer and lamp in series with +ve of the battery.
4. Connect a switch to -ve of the battery and other end to the lamp.
5. Use the switch to hold for more than 2 seconds to send a DASH and a hold a second to send a DOT.
4. Repeat steps 5 multiple times with multiple combinations and send your encrypted messages in morse code.
5.Write down the results.

RESULTS:
1. Sender sends messages translated in morse code and receiver receives them and translates them.

CONCLUSION:
1. As long as both sender and receiver knows morse code they can share secrets using this communication method.
